Per
an 8/28/14 article in Newser, byline Arden Dier: "...OnlineAccessoryOutlet.com will take $250 from your pocket if you even
threaten to leave a less-than-stellar review. Customers "agree not to file any complaint, chargeback, claim, dispute, or make ... any public statement regarding the order," or threaten to do so, within a 90-day period after their order, or they'll be fined the $250 "plus any additional fees [and] damages," according to the site's
terms of sale, spotted by
Consumerist."
Since this is clearly one of the most illegal and blatantly criminal threats ever made online, I felt obliged to give anyone a voice regarding their opinion of this "retailer" (and I use the term loosely). They currently have an F rating with the BBB, despite claiming an A. I propose to leave this blog in place until they change their "terms of sale" or go out of business, whichever comes first.
